About the Retail Store
I completed this project Spring Semester 2021 my junior year, For this project I had to complete an interior up-fit for a formal men and women’s retail store located in New York City. Spaces designed are the checkout counter, employee workroom, storage room, employee bathroom, men’s and women’s bathroom, fitting rooms, and various displays. The goal of the was to create a luxurious shopping experience for men and women using black and white marble and metallic accents throughout the design. Black and white symbolize yin and yang and although the two colors can seem like opposing forces, they compliment each other, just like men and women do.
